Overlapping eschatologies?

Living in a household of very liberal/lapsed Catholics, I was ruminating on the coincidence of the commemoration of the Book of Law and this year's Easter celebrations.

Later I got to thinking about Terence McKenna's Novelty Theory and started forming a question that I have yet to see explored in any depth.

Basically, has anyone looked into overlapping different eschatological theories/scenarios/prophecies, and actually come up with a pattern that has any significance for them? Specifically I was wondering about Crowley's Aeons and McKenna's Timewave graph. Is there any synchronization that anyone has observed?

McKenna's Timewave Zero is itself an overlapping of different functions: the Mayan calendar, natch, but also the I Ching, South American lore, and whatever info he supposedly downloaded from the transdimensional machine elves.

The Mayan 1887-2012 is the time of revelation for the purpose of paradigm change from the evolutionary history of extreme duality to a octave jump to cosmic unity.
The trees of life of westerm mysticsm is a parralell explanation, the lower being the fall into the extremes of goodand evil duality and the higher octave shift being the Tree of life and Immortality. Both of these Trees are within each human as their lower and higher chakras. Where ever your consciousness resides by living habbits, there upon that tree your home is made.
The lower tree has expensive karmic cost with cross species barrier incarnations. The higher octave Tree of Life has a much cheaper karmic cost with no transmigration of souls back into species crossing.
