Burning Any Good Books, This Weekend?

So, the three days of April 8, 9 & 10 are the 100 year anniversary of Crowley's manifestation of The Book of the Law.

Some people are reading one chapter at noon each day and then burning the Liber in its entirety on Satyrday night. I'm likely going to read the whole thing in a personalized ritual on Friday night and burn it immediately following. I'm also considering choosing other creeds to burn at the time to further signify the release from dogma that this conflagration intends. Obviously one or more of the Lutheran Creeds I was raised with will be included in my own rite. If folk will share, any other good suggestions or personal choices would be appreciated.

Side notes:

-I'll be burning an online printoff, not a bought, bound book.
-I also plan on doing a full cycle of Liber Resh at the prescribed times on each of the three days to acknowledge the entire Holy Time.
-The 11th is Easter. Considering the disease of doctrinal absolutism that riddles so much of Xristianity, I see this three day lead in as a fantastic opportunity to lessen that influence and increase the sense of acceptance that I see more and more of amongst individual Christians. Take of that what you WILL.

Hmm, thanks for the dates--I will likely celebrate this by ignoring it altogether.

Yeah, for once this seems like a genuinely auspicious occasion, cheers for the dates. Unfortunately though, I don't have a copy - Anyone know where I can get hold of one in London ( I've been a bit lost on this front since Compendium shut down ) ?

for an online copy, go to www.hermetic.com and look under

I believe I'll just go along with BiaS and ignore this merry event.

I'll celebrate by linking to a story about the rediscovery of the original manuscript:

Very strange. But true.

I find these dates important, besides what might be happening in our individual lives that make these three days significant, it has been a hundred years, which is cool, and must mean something, somewhere, in this dimesion or that, AND it is Easter, AND, it's the first time in a while that the Orthodox Easter fell on the same day as the date for the other Christian sects. If you need more information on that, too bad, I'm tired of explaining it, but here is a link: http://www.sfakia-crete.com/sfakia-crete/greekeaster.html
The next time won't be until 2007.
As far as celebrating these days, I'll probably keep the events in mind while creating my own fun marking experiences. I won't be burning any books, because something inside of me, well, resists that. Have fun, kids.

Well, Purpose, for me, I'm burning a creed, not a book perse. The title is mostly Barbe-shock semantics. Like I said, I'll just be burning loose leaf printoffs. At eight point type, the entire 'book' is only six pages.

And, um, delving into snarkiness, boy and Quasar, but is posting to a thread about something the best way to ignore it?
