Joe, I reckon I could intuit which side of the bed to put them. I think it'd be an oriental dragon, I recently saw a Joseph Campbell documentary and he describes oriental dragons as symbols of flamboyant "life force", masculine of course. Pomegranates are a very feminine symbol and going with the traditional correlations I'll assume feminine on the left and masculine on the right. Which is handy because I sleep on the left hand side of the bed as well.
I'll keep an eye out for the book you suggested, it sounds very interesting. If you don't mind I think I'll not risk getting a worm, hubby would not be pleased |
