Fertility Magick

I've been having problems with my fertility for the past two years due to hormonal disturbances (Depo-Provera is EVIL), things have settled down a bit but it seems I'm still sub-fertile, not ovulating.

I've been to an Endocrinologist who suggested taking the pill or other such synthetic hormones. As hormonal contraceptives got me into this pickle in the first place, I've been trying other options first. So I'm taking homeopathic medicine at the moment.

I'd also like to try some fertility magick as a sideline. I've already done a few things, but was wondering if anyone had any suggestions?

Well, I know how I'd approach it. Take a piece of Birch wood. Burn the end so its ashy. Use it to draw the Berkana rune over your womb. Say a prayer to Freya. Eat/offer an apple. Go from there as you feel appropriate.

Beltaine is coming up as well. Get ye to a maypole dance for more traditional sorts of fertility blessings.

I have a friend in work who swears by Lillian Too's Fenf Shui books

she said she lent a friend a pomegranete and an ornamental dragon to put either side of her bed

I cannot remember which side of the bed each is which to go on but our mutual friend, became pregnant not long after

Also, it might be of interest for you to try to acquire a book called 'Hypnosis' by Dr David Cheek

he was a hypnotist and obstetrician who used what he calls 'ideo motor movements' to ask the unconscious why it won't allow an otherwise healthy woman to concieve

email me at the following address if you want anymore info

I am having a problem with a 'worm' on my computer at the moment but if you are willing to take the risk of contacting me and possibly infecting your computer.....I will supply the ISBN number of Dr Cheek's book (when I find it) ......or briefly detailing his technique

THOUGH I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU BIY THE BOOK AND SEE A COMPETETN HYPNOTIST RATHER THAN TRY THIS YOURSELF

Thank you both for your suggestions, I will definately try yours Cusm, I'm friendly with a birch at college

Joe, I reckon I could intuit which side of the bed to put them. I think it'd be an oriental dragon, I recently saw a Joseph Campbell documentary and he describes oriental dragons as symbols of flamboyant "life force", masculine of course. Pomegranates are a very feminine symbol and going with the traditional correlations I'll assume feminine on the left and masculine on the right. Which is handy because I sleep on the left hand side of the bed as well.

I'll keep an eye out for the book you suggested, it sounds very interesting. If you don't mind I think I'll not risk getting a worm, hubby would not be pleased

No problem

I'm glad it was at least of interest to you and I hope it works for you

I have tried to get rid of this pesky worm with anti virus software but I keep getting the message '1 worm detected'

rather than removed
