okay, I usually don't do this, but I'm excited. Today is my birthday, I'm proud to have survived this long, and I just think it's kinda neat that I turn 22 on 2-22-02. But I tend to be impressed by these sorts of things. So I'm getting my first tattoo, and am flat out determined to have a good birthday this year if it kills everyone around me.

So I wish to hear what other people's 22nd birthdays were like, I need ideas. Thank you.

Trying to figure this one out, chronology-wise- I think my 22nd I went to see Zodiac Mindwarp & the Love Reaction. Which was fucking cool.
Have the best fucking year you can- which if you put your mind to it, should be pretty damn good. And that goes for every other year too.

it's my girlfriend's birthday today as well, she's 24.

My 22nd - funny one that. I was actually in college (on a fucking saturday) working on an enormous painting and not planning on doing anything. A couple of my mates came in and found me, basically dissed me for being lame, called up my whole crew on my behalf and herded me down the pub. we took over this sleepy irish pub off caledonian road, gave them more custom and noise than they'd seen in ages, they loved it and invited us to stay for a lock- in. Very, very satisfying.
Plus I got bought the beautiful hardcover edition of "earth-2" by Morrison and Quitely.
