Hullo. I'm going to cut straight to the chase: I want to halt the actions of the Symantec corporation. They prevent the flow of information. Nearly half of all public systems in the western world use their software.
I'd appreciate any help you can give me about spells, incantantions, anything to help me take down the beast. You can get the company "sigil" from www.symantec.com if needs be.

By that, you mean they help in the prevention of individual users from digging around in other people's computers. Oh, right, and they help disinfect machines, destroying viruses and assorted malicious code.

Well, you've sold me. They are a global monster and they must be stopped!

I don't know...most of the Antivirus companies may be the ones that actually create new viruses on a regular basis..I don't trust anyone...

Yeah, I dunno...I appreciate that INFO-WANTZ-2B-$0, but in my experience, most of asshole h4ck3rs writing malicious code have less interest in overturning Moloch than wiping my hard drive or selling my email addresses to a pornography retailer. If I'm going to engage in spiritual war against anyone, I need a damn good reason...and I can think of companies that strike me as being a million times more malicious: anyone wanna "smoke" Imperial Tobacco, for example?

Well I've used their software - both privately and at a corporate level - for well over 10 years, and I have no complaints. So you're not gonna get my vote unless you can demonstrate conclusively that they're more 'evil' than, say, Shell, or Coca- Cola, or indeed Microsoft.
