I ended up seeing this show last week on my monthly Chelsea gallery tour. I thought it was quite pointed and effective, more so than some video installations.
It is created as a series of scenes, with two, three and four people in them. Each person as a talking head on one of the walls of the gallery. The interactions feel to be very much in a post 9/11 mindset with an underlying tension and frustration between characters. All about communication and perception. |
