Well, de Jade seems to be a bit confused about what post-modernism is, which is going to make dancing on the right grave a bit tricky. The abstract says "Is the great POP beat dying?". So, I think he has got post-modernism mixed up with pop art and pop-cultural art forms. What he means by this I'm unsure - video art? Art about superheroes? - but I'm sure he will be able to help us out with this. Either that or he believes Point-of-Presence email to be the engine of post-modernism, and further that its days are numbered, which is also a possibility... once we've clarified that we should have a better understanding of whether and where to move it. |
