Comic book wiki

I'm new here, and have been lurking the comic book discussions for a couple weeks. There's some fascinating talk about Watchmen and New X-Men particularly that I've been reading recently.

Would anyone be interested if I set up a wiki? A wiki could be used as a permanent location for these discussions, rather than in a forum topic that will eventually drop off the board.

Barbelith actually already has a wiki - it's located here - and I'm sure no one would mind if you started a new section that was designed to capture some of the great stuff that lurks around the Comic Book forum.

we have a wiki? we DO! Tom, you rock.

As to the contents of a comic wiki, it seems like there's an abundance of pop-mainstream comics info on the net. hell, there's no shortage of people here that could categorize each rendition of Wolverine's hairstyle according to height, colour, and similarity to specific works of Dali. Info on less marketed works (Fantagraphics and the like), ubiquitous yet largely forgotten works, and just plain cool-but-lost stuff would be a worthy contribution to the net. Some theory would be good, too. And the fantastic instructional stuff is golden. Or, y'know, go all-geek and compare/contrast the various incarnations of "Transformers" (Marvel US vs. Marvel UK vs. Dreamwave vs. Image)
