Launching sigils with video games

hola, i just recently read this article on the disinfo site about using video games as a great means of reaching gnosis: http://www.disinfo.com/site/displayarticle2256.html

ive been doing it for a couple of days now and things have actually been working pretty well. anyone else try anything like this and have good results?

also a side tip, the article talks about visualizing your sigil on the back of the characters head or costume etc. ive actually been taking a sharpie and drawing my sigil on the back of a characters head, playing a couple rounds charging the sigil, and then scrubbing it off. might help out some people whos visualization skills arent terrific.

another side note, crash team racing and other racing games lend themselves well to this.

How about horror videos I found trying to charge sigils whilst playing vid games different. At least with horror you can experience sountracked inspired anxieties and laugh it off at oodles of corn syrup!

try Divi Dead. Its a japanese Hentai game but its quite good. okay that first to mind because I'm setting here playing hentai games all night. there are a lot of horror games on PC and Playstation though. Silent Hill series is good for something like this. Nocturne if you can find it.

I really recommend ANY game you can play like its second nature, an extension of your consciousness. I used to play Tekken for literally 4 hours a day in my real stoner student years and started realising stuff I would idly talk about whilst playing would come to pass. Affectively my initiation was brought about by gnosis states whilst playing Tekken. It’s the incredible timing that’s required, the automated move structures you find yourself in and the reactions that I feel can make this game for me very Zen and the perfect tool for this kind of work.

I charged two sigils yesterday that have already bore fruit off the back of this thread and others like it. My advice is find a game you used to love, refresh for an hour or two and use the static to stick the sigils to the telly.

It’s all about getting in the zone that focused yet passive state where you act without conscious thought of what you are doing. I clocked up 32 victories and 2 charged sigils in survival mode playing Tekken Tag Tournament yesterday.
