They are the same book. Hemingway's original title was Fiesta, but later editions were often titled The Sun Also Rises.

Well since that's cleared that one up pretty promptly, I've got a similar question to propose;

William Burroughs - "Dead Fingers Talk".

Bought it second hand recently, and on first glance it appears to be little more than chunks of "Naked Lunch" presented in a slightly different order..

Is there actually much new material in there to make it worth reading?, is it simply an alternate 'mix' of Naked Lunch (which was compiled in the first place more or less at random from a far larger pile of writing)? Or is it just some kind of publishing scam to try and get more mileage out of the same material?

I thought "Dead Fingers Talk" was the collective name for the "trilogy"- The Naked Lunch, The Soft Machine and the Ticket that Exploded. Although it wouldn't surprise me at all if it hadn't been re-edited.

" Dead Fingers Talk. "

I think it's just what you think it is, re-mixed Naked Lunch.

Have you read Exterminator ?

If not, I'm not sure I can recommend it highly enough.

" Do you begin to understand that there is no boy in the mirror ? "

Etc, etc, well I'm going to pass out.
