| in the thread Sypha started she mentioned Michael Bertiaux, and that got me thinking again about something I came across on the OTOA website a while ago. I was reading a section of the site that describes the various grades within the order as well as the types of magick learned in those grades. at the XI'th grade (Templier Noire) one of the practices is Luciferian Gnosticism. I have been studying the various Gnostic traditions for the past month or so, and in none of my books is there any mention of this type of gnosis. I did a google search using that phrase and all I found were a couple of pages written either by Christian Fundamentalists or Conspiracy nuts talking about The New World Order, and The Book of Revelations. And so I thought maybe If I post about it here someone might be able to give me some sort of background on exactly what is meant by "Luciferian Gnosticism". Any assistance would be appreciated. |
