He's not angry, he's just terrified because his helicopter has no visible method by which to fly it and is therefore a death trap. A fact which he's presumably only realised once airborne.

Actually, the stupidity of not checking to see whether his helicopter had any visible method by which to fly it before becoming airborne may indeed be making him angry. Therefore I feel forced to retract the initial paragraph.

I've just realised the idiocy of trying to compare cartoon bananas with cartoon apples. I was struggling, though - once you've got a cartoon banana in mind, it's remarkably difficult to think of any other fruit.
