Culver City, CA, March 15, 2004 - Independent Comic Publisher, Frightworld Studios announced today it would publish a graphic novel for the zombie series titled 'Zombie Commandos From Hell!', created by Canadian artist and writer Steph Dumais. The first installment of this series will be released November 2004.
For those not familiar with the series, the book will summarize and conclude the first four issues of the ZCFH series. Steph Dumais has promised a gritty, gore fest, which fans have come to relish. Frightworld Studios is excited to partner with Mr. Dumais on this project and is looking forward to future issues of the series and other developing projects.
Frightworld Studios is an independent publisher founded by professional artist, John Pearson. Their first title 'Fleshrot Tales From The Dead', released May 2003, was met with praise between avid zombie and horror fans alike. Famed film director George A. Romero contributed the forward to the first issue, acknowledging it's superior level of artistry stating, "This is balls-out-what-it's-all-about stuff." Frightworld Studios is set to release the second installment of Fleshrot along with a Halloween Special in October.
Steph Dumais is a Canadian born graphic designer specializing in web design and illustration. As well as maintaining his freelance work, Steph has previously worked for various Dot Coms, including Gameloft (a division of Ubi Soft) and now resides at Pratt & Whitney International. Mr. Dumais just completed 'Club Zero G', a graphic novel scripted by Douglas Rushkoff, coming out in 2004 from Disinfo Press.
