A few months ago I read Dylan Horrocks' "Hicksville" and was quite impressed. I hear he did some Tim Hunter series a while back for Vertigo that didn't last but I never liked Tim Hunter or the Books of Magic mini and ongoing so I decided not to bother.
I just saw the DC Solicitations for June and see he's writing Batgirl and some Legends of the Dark Knights thing. Anyone here read his Batgirl?
I never read the book but somewhat familiar with the character that showed up in the No Man's Land crossover when I used to read Batman.

Quite frankly I'm not interested in any Batman comic, Azzarello's run started off nicely but quickly turned into crap and the Lapham/Sienkienwicz run doesn't seem to be happening anytime soon esp now that Sienkiewicz has jumped ship because of other commitments.

But I want to know if he's anything else that I should check out. I hear about something called Atlas which I'll try to find soon.

Atlas is very much a sequel to Hicksville. Well worth checking out and the #2 is due out very soon. You should also check out Dylan's website, Hicksville where he keeps his updates on his current projects.

I interviewed him once and he was one of coolest and most down to earth people I've ever met. Keeps an open invitation to his stateside fans to come visit him in New Zealand.
