I was just thinking about fictional characters again and the new method of getting 'downloads', also what was brought up in another thread about invoking fictional characters and the lack of experience/ awareness/power that they might have, when i thought about the future.

Then it got really interesting.

Seeing as time is supposed to be an illusion, is it possible to recieve downloads and to invoke fictional characters/archetypes from the future. I think it it's possible. If this is possible it could cancel out any lack of power and awareness/knowledge/experience that the character has in this timeline by drawing from the future. Maybe it requires a hell of a lot of skill, or maybe just a good imagination to pinpoint that area of the universe.

I know this seems far out but i really think it's possible, and if it is, then what's needed is :

a) An actual future to draw from, i hope there is one.

b) A good knowledge of what you need and then ability to choose what character's energy you want to draw from.

c) An effective method of Trance/invocation.

I really think this is possible, and if our timeline past 2012 is actually still there in the form of a more enlightened Earth, then i'm assuming that fiction only gets better and better and that characters like the ones in the X-Men, Spectre, Superman, Batman etc are actually very powerful entities indeed, and equally as powerful as some of the ones used now, due to the sheer number of people using them.

Any thoughts on this?

Also : Downloads, maybe downloads are given from these characters just like downloads that could in theory come from Barbelith now. (see Barbelith Workings thread if your new here, it should still be on this page somewhere.)

Fictional, or what we are thinking are fictional characters, could actually be giving out downloads all over the place, and could actually have arrived here in comics/films etc, via downloads from the future. Using the future to heal the past.

On a total crazy note, and i mean here i'm pushing this to it's very limits : maybe, we aren't actually strong enough to do this universal initiation stuff on our own or with the resources that we had a very short time ago, and one of the things that's actually saving Humans/the Earth is the amount of energy created by another order of beings that actually have a branch that deals in raising awareness and helping evolution through fictional inspiration, downloads, character inspiration, creation, that helps us to have the confidence and ability to deal with the advanced ways of the future.

Maybe there really is a far out reason for all of this fiction, maybe it's really here to guide and prepare us. Maybe i'm nuts, or maybe The Invisibles, X-Men and co, are on the other side as fully formed beings that have been sent to us in the easier to swallow versions of fiction, also the fact that 2012 could have gone off in myriad other universes and this is the tried and tested way of passing into the future. A multi-universal meta-training programme.

That also leaves me on 2012 in particular. If something big is going to happen soon, maybe the closer we get, the easier it will be for receptive initiates, adepts etc to actually draw purer energies here from the other side of the global shift to make the process take place more smoothly.

..actually zen memetics -- i for one find your 'wankering' theorising very very very accessible for a simple reason that anyone can sit down and have a cup of tea to:

ask yourself why at this time in our evolution that there are many many many tools that are literally right there under our noses ---

why the technology:
why the writings:
why the films:
why the moments to gather and to discuss such 'wankering' theorisings as what you have posed in this thread...

why the tools -- why the ability to easily access these tools --- and yes why are we plunged into an obvious confrontation with our fears and apathy played out in the vast mediums of politics: social un-rest: and the continual nervous boredom that has come to plague many as we are shooting towards that grand summation at december 2012....

with my eyes and with my mind opened upon downloading grant morrison's the invisibles at least half a dozen times since its inception into the minds (..and what a very lovely download at that ....) -- my mind refuses to sit about and pretend that it doesn't see and perceives what my mind has come to recognise as cracks in that assured wall we have been taught to believe is 'reality'.....

the bending and the breaking and the bouncing and the brittle nature of that assured wall indicates that we are becoming more than mere passive witnesses to the inevitable crash burn and phoenix phase of evolution: and that evolution was never understood by darwin at all because evolution represents a living and yes viral contagion that once sparked trillion of years ago (...and we do need to step beyond even the theories of the 'big bang' for a moment to truly grasp this ceaseless essence....) has continued to replicate and mutate and move along lines and courses and paths that have been noticed by all but not used by the many per se...

that our truest birthright has always been about entering this viral replication through the processes left to us by the many whom have enter this process of viral contamination and allowed this viral spark to consume them and in the process transformed them into seeing the source and fountainhead at work:

...all of which becomes revealed when you squint your eyes and you allow yourself to understand versus trying to understand and therefore fall into the rather insidious temptation to try to explain it all away with logickal rhetoric quoted in precise cadence as read from the latest 'findings' that more and more and nore ignores more and finds very little really....

as quantum physics at times comes very close to saying but aptly so stops short and allows the student to cross that threshold on their own volition --- we are living within a very alive and metayperarticulate universe that winks: and nods: and points; and farts: and screams: and yells: and spit: and cums: and moans: and danses: and shits: and does all that the universe has learned to do in order to provide us all with the cheat sheets and with the crib notes and most of all the keys to the immense treasures rooms that reaches unlimitless capacities and infinitely perpetual potentials that begs for all of us to receive and to invoke....

your 'wankering' theorising zen goes a long long long way -- and as such must be seen as a vital download to be hacked into and used:

'...programs hacking other programs......'

Thanks archon666, i'm going to put some of this into practise and see what happens. Time to me is an illusion, i'm gonna try drawing/invoking from the future and see what happens.

Well i just invoked whatever it was that was Cyclops and Colossus.

First i invoked Cyclops 'from the year 2015', yeah i know what your thinking, well i didn't get anything about 2015. Why i don't know, probably because i'm hardly an adept or anything and wouldn't be trusted with that type of stuff, but the invocation was cool. Cyclops felt real serene and after about five minutes i started feeling a watery substance all over the top of my shoulders and my sides, and then it changed to a real airy type feeling, Cyclops said that all i could do at this time was to meditate whilst having him invoked and then maybe i would get better insights and downloads into what exactly he is.

Then after about five more minutes i invoked Colossus and it was pretty scary. I got this massive surge of power, very Geburic and i really felt like something far more powerful than myself was there. I talked to him for a couple of minutes and then meditated on his metal ability for about five minutes and started seeing how that type of power would work, how small changes in the skin would allow for movement etc.

Anyway, i'm getting vibes that it's not really in my best interests to be writing this here as it's kind of personal what happened but i thought i'd let you know that something positive and most of all, something practical came out of this and that if you want to know about this type of thing yourself, try it!

I realize that i could be simply deluded and that basically i could be just invoking the equivalent of different energies of the tree of life, different elemental parts of my unconscious etc, but i actually think that with practise this could be just as effective as invoking those actual elemental parts and energies.

Also, this could be my Holy Guardian Angel taking on different forms and preparing me for bigger magical stuff.

Just thought i'd post this anyway, any further work with this and i won't be posting it up here in so much detail, maybe just how i feel changes in myself over a period of time or good results, wierdness and so on.

Good on you for doing it. Sounds interesting. I agree with you though about not posting the details of "works in progress". I don't think this is a hard and fast rule for every situation but it works for me, most of the time. You could maybe try and get some dream contact going as well, try automatic writing, there's all sorts of things you could do.

This is gonna sound really bizarre (coming from me) to anyone who's read me babbling about how writers shouldn't write fanfic (not a moral or artistic consideration, but simply a sense I have that, if you're gonna write, you should write things that you can potentially sell), but if this is something you really want to do, I would suggest...well...writing fanfic about the characters. If you want to know how it would feel to transform into solid steel, for instance, I don't think anything could be more effective than writing a story where you place yourself right in the character's head. It's probably the most effective method of trance-channelling of this kind that I can think of...

Yeah that sounds good thanks. I know how good they can be aswell after writing a matrix one, it's in the creation forum.

One thing i think would be good aswell is summoning/writing about the characters from The Silmarillion, the myths in that book are amazing.
