Okay, so I've been popping and locking to the newly released Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind Soundtrack (Yes, I know. Noone's seen the movie yet, but it's Brion, so, you know, it's a no-brainer).
As you all know, he also did the score for Magnolia and Punch-Drunk Love. And also produced a great deal of Aimee Mann and Fiona Apple's back catalogue. Anyway.
Is there anything the man can't do?
I mean, sure, produce and write and some of the most intricate pop music ever (aside from producing, his solo stuff [including shoe-in for best song of all time, "Here We Go" off of Punch Drunk] is just as immaculate), but also, I mean, what's the deal with this amazing knack for orchestral composition? I mean, enough already!
Damn. In case you were wondering, there are some heartbreakers on the ESOTSM Soundtrack. Even if the movie was an instructional film on bus repair, with this music, I'd still probably cry.
