For Us, The Living : A Comedy of Customs
Heinlein's newly published last novel is in fact his first, written in 1938-9 and abandoned unpublished due to its (for the time) controversial content. Recently discovered mouldering in a garage (seriously), the manuscript has seen print at last as of January. Reviews are mixed, but suggest it might be worth a read (though perhaps not until a cheaper paperback version is out). Anyone here read this thing, and if so, what were your impressions? |
