I have no idea where to put this so I figured Conversation was as good as any. Sad and tragically bizarre.

A man was killed during a Masonic initiation ceremony when another member fired a gun loaded with real bullets instead of the expected blanks and shot him in the face, police said yesterday.

I've read only a tiny bit on Masonic ritual but I don't remember the noise being a part of it.

I've read a bit about guns and I know you don't point them at people unless you want to kill them, whether they're loaded with blanks, real bullets or not loaded atall!
