Did anyone else pick up issue #1. I don't want to spoil anything just yet, but so far it is quite thoroughly in continuity. John Constantine, Abigale, Tefe, Swampy and Alec all make their appearance. The Art is quite good (minus the Butt shot at the very end ) and the story has me willing to pick up the second issue, with an alright, I'll play along" sort of feel.

you?

Volume four, if I'm not mistaken...

I picked it up, but I haven't read it, though. Thumbed through and saw the Parliament of Trees, I think. I hope not, because they're long gone.

Tsk.

ST is, I think, bound up enough by its hyper-complicated continuity that they really just need to stop, maybe. I continue to buy everything pertaining to the Vertigo magical universe, like a sucker, but it all really ran out of steam some time ago.

Yeah, liked it. Constantine was reasonably well written. I think this will be a steadily good read. Dinner now. Would've written more but I have hunger.

Seemed fairly pointless to me. The art was consciously Bissetesque which made me feel like we're in for a homage/recreation of the early Moore stuff. I do like swampy as a character though, and I hear it's being taken over by Will Pfieffer after Diggle, who in my mind is a much more interesting writer, so I'll stick with it till then.
