So, Mister Dick...

I'm still smirking. I've been offered a phone interview with Fish next week. Here's your once-in-a-lifetime chance to give me questions to put on your behalf to the Melancholy Jester himself.

Fire away.

Thats awesome man! I had no idea the guy from Marillion was in Phish (which you spelled wrong, btw). I'm sure Flux will be excited about this.

Ha ha.

Ask him what he's been doing for the past 25 years and why the hell he thinks anyone would be interested in him now. And, what does Slainte Mhath mean?

Dude, I had no idea that Philip K. Dick used to sing for Marillion! I'll definitely have to check them out, now.

Question for Mr. Dick: Didn't you die, like, thirty years ago?

Ask him about the chips.

I'm sure he's been asked this before, but to my knowledge anyway, he has NEVER PROVIDED A SATISFACTORY ANSWER

You're a bunch of helpful bastards. Thanks.

Slainte Mhath means good health, or 'cheers!', I believe.

Assuming you haven't already done the interview, Sax - ask him about the Scottish music scene - whether there is one separate/distinct from the mainstream UK music scene, what characteristics/bands/artists are involved in it, how he considers that he's involved with it, that kind of thing. Let me know what he says...

Actually, he was the most miserable bastard I've ever had the misfortune to interview. Talk about your childhood heroes turning out to have feet of dog cack.

Really? He's famous for being a raconteur... how odd.

He was on Never Mind the Buzzcocks recently, and he even took Mark Lammar's mockery of his accent with good humour.
