Want to see a picture of a banana flying a helicopter? Or a volcano looking up last-minute air fares on Ceefax? Or two bald men jumping out of a chocolate eclair? Or something?
Whatever it is, post a description here and see if someone doesn't come up with the goods. Be as vague or specific as you like.
If you can come up with the goods, simply bung the pic up here (WORK SAFE ONLY, please) or post a link to it.
Example:
Person A: "I'd like to see a picture of two chickens standing underneath a gorilla, with a moose-type thing in the background. The chickens should look pretty chirpy, and the gorilla should be wearing a pointy hat and have flippers instead of arms."
Person B: "Here you go, will this do? It is all my own work."
Person A: "Yes, that is perfect, you are a genius, thank you. Somebody should be paying you lots of money to do that sort of thing."
Person B: "I don't like to boast, but you are spot on there."

It will be assumed that pictures can be in any media, any style and not necessarily produced by the person posting it - it could just be a link to an existing pic on the interweb somewhere. If you are only interested in a particular media (pencil sketch, photomontage, pasta sculpture) etc then please put that in your description.
Important: It will also be assumed that all requests for pics are just for the hell of it. If you want a picture for a specific purpose (to put on a site or in a comic, for instance), you should state that in your initial request.

Right, I would like to see:
1. A banana flying a helicopter.
2a. An illustration for that dream I described in the Dreaming About Barbelith thread: "Outside, in the sun, grant from the Barbelith message board is pushing me around the pavement in a bucket on wheels."
2b. Also from that dream: "I turn back to the house. grant puts on a determined face and says: "I'm going in. I'm going to do it." I hold back and watch as he clenches his jaw and strides towards the tall wooden gate at the side of the house that leads to the haunted house's back garden."
3. A tank with a cake stand on it. The tank appears to be in the middle of a fight and the cake stand is loaded with creamy cakes. Would be nice to have a soldier running past with a gun in one hand and a cake in the other. This might be for use in a fanzine that I will never finish, to illustrate a gag about 'fighting lunches'. |
