It’s a long shot, but anybody got a copy of this six-page work of genius to hand? That they’d be at all inclined to scan and hoist up somewhere online so we can all have a look at it, and y’know, discuss? My copy seems to be in a box in a garage on the other side of the country. It's been ages but I remember it as being the best thing he ever did. Although I could be wrong.

Have you tried his site Bed. Click here and have a look through it. I know he has a full listing of his work and some strips posted up there too. Can't remember if that particular one is there, but can't hurt to look.

You’re a fucking god amongst men, swish.

It isn’t there, but there’s loads of lovely 'Wired World' and also ‘Endless Summer’ from A1 number 3, which was in much the same vein as Jeepster, anyway. It’s all sweet, and beautiful, and fun. Why doesn’t his recent stuff thrill me as much?

You're too kind Bed.

Must admit not seen much of his new stuff. Actually come to think about it not seen any new stuff since the Hellblazer limited series "Bad Blood".

I know what you mean through Bed. Always consider Bond to be one of the best artists and his depictions of women especially won me over (always used to say I wanted to live in a world where Philip Bond drew the woman and Ryan Hughes did the architecture designs ). Maybe it's how his style is maturing as he gets older.

I just bought A1 #3 (from the big stack of them in Comics Showcase), Endless Summer was very nice, like you say, sweet.

Just to let youse all kow, if you didn't already that there were two different runs of A1, the first Atomeka, the second Eclipse, so you may be missing some very nice stuff.

Doh! I was informed by PM last night that Jeepster is nowhere to be found in issue 2, which left me wondering if I’d started a thread on a comic I’d dreamed. That would be embarrassing. It's in my copy, is all I can say, and I'm pretty sure it exists in the real world, despite being unable to check.

And ‘swish, you *do* live in a world where Phillip Bond draws women and Rian Hughes designs architecture. Remember?

In that case I need a new writer for this world. Fed up of the same old storyline where I miss out on getting to know the beauty of these two artists...
