Interestingly enough, the basic plot sounds like it may be a very loose treatment of Morrison's "New X-Men" run. What with the "everyone vs. evolution" theme, the Beast, and the Phoenix stuff from the end of x2.
That all sounds like good news, and I hope it turns out to be true. It's the "shooting the next two at the same time" thing that has me most excited. That's what this franchise needs, really.
