One in five Americans would pay to see Osama Bin Laden die as part of a televised event. Seriously.
Hypothetically, if Bin Laden were captured, held in Guantanamo Bay, put on trial and found guilty, is there really any chance that his execution would be televised? What would the likely reaction be from America and, more importantly, the Arab world?

Actually, I'd be willing to bet the US budget deficit they know =exactly= where bin Laden is, have done for some time, and are just waiting for the most politically favourable moment to pull him out of there.

His captors probably won't feel the need for a trial, given that they've got ordinary citizens such as SMatthew willing to watch him twitch based on the mere assertion of his guilt.
