Did anyone see this? Interested to hear opinions on the ethics of the whole show.

For those who don't know, a 'reality' dating show, in which six blokes are vying for the attentions of a very feminine pre-op transexual from Mexico, with noen of them aware that the object of their lust is not a woman. 'Hihglights' of the first show included a test to see who could snog 'her' first by holding a swimming contest, through the ocean to the boat 'she' was on. An Ex-Marine won the contest, and took full tongue-ey advantage.

Again, none of the contestants are aware that they are lusting after a petite mexican man with a dick and 34C tits.

the object of their lust is not a woman

I've not seen the show, but I'll say this: your attitude towards transexual people could do with some examination, to say the least.

A previous thread on the subject of this TV programme may be of help.

Not sure about the attitude part, didn't actually mention that, but quite right Flyboy, allow me to correct myself...

the object of their lust was not born a woman

and

lusting after a petite mexican male with the reproductive organs he was born with and fake breasts, who currently lives as a woman.

Goddamn that lazy posting.

I didn't know about the previous thread, which seems to have pretty much covered the ethical issues and repurcussions.

In the end I decided not to watch the show as I couldn't see any way it wouldn't make me very angry. Sounds like a good choice.

I'm going to put this one forward for locking, as the other thread can be used for any further discussion.
