Steve'll be happy with that. Look out for a round of talks at Talking Stick... oops... The Moot With No Name when it comes out.

If you find out where and when we can get this let me know I rather want this book. I suppose you could just bump this thread when the time comes.

Apparently its been 'expanded' (more material one hopes) and has a new cover - another Spare drawing that both Geraldine Beskine & I agree bears more than a passing resemblance to Steve himself. When I last popped into Atlantis it was about to go to the printers, so it should be available fairly soon.

Was at the book launch this evening - the book looks excellent.

I'd imagine the easiest place to get a copy at the moment would be Atlantis direct, either 49a Museum Street, London or by calling 0207 405 2120. They mentioned they had distributors worldwide now too, so hopefully it'll be easier to get a copy.

What is the purpose/gist of this book?

Sobek: It's a "workbook", drawing on techniques based on the author's time in Sahaja Yoga, for developing spontaneously, personalised postures, gestures, mantras, yantras etc twinned and linking in to certain states of mind. The first "map" he uses is the 7 classical planets. He then goes onto explore the use of techniques in longer sections of Shamanism and Cermonial magick. It's a great book, you could adapt it to all sorts of things.

Thanks. I just got Antero Alli's paratheatrical workbook TOWARDS AN ARCHAEOLOGY OF THE SOUL. Sounds like they might be complementary.
