Okay if i can swing it who would be intrested, in a couple of hours archery before a saturday meet, you guys would have to pay (equipment and run hire) and get to a place called blackwell court near the lickeys, i will provide tution and book the run if someone buys me a beer (AFTER). i just want to gague reaction before i start pulling strings *badda boom tish*

What kind of archery do you do? Competition stuff, re-enactment stuff, live role playing stuff?

I miss my recurve bow. It's in Oz and I couldn't bring it back with me. In fact I am now desparately trying to remember who I left it with.

just some run of the mill target archery i became a qualifed insturctor and guy i know runs an outdoor pursuits centre, where i might be able to hire with the equipment (compound bows and fibreglass sticks), i thought it would be a good chance for people to have a go that hadnt before, and somthing intresting to do before we go to the pub.

any roleplaying will be done in there own head and not shared hopfully, its annoying enough to have kids object that "Legoland doesnt do it like that" or what ever that bloody elfs name is.

im a pretty good instructor too, well people seem to get better after i instruct them which seems like a pretty good indicator.

sometime in march, weekday nights would be cheaper but i work untill its dark, so its gonna have to be a weekend.

im just gauging a reaction first if theres less than five or so its probly not worth it (will be expensive)

aw the temptation to dust off the old compound bow, get that set of arrows made up and then scare people through my inability to hit the thing infront of me (although quite good in getting the flukey richocete and having my arrow bounce back other my right shoulder. Hmmmm maybe good isn't the right word here).

I have to check when my mum's birthday is, as that's in March. I'll be expected to attend something at some point. That and I'm supposed to do something else but that's flexible.
Otherwise yes. How expensive are we talking, btw?

us blatantly uninsured peeps arnt sposed to be there but this geezer owes me a favour, although i dont want to mess him around on dates cos its not that big a favour.

costs hmm i think its about £17 ph for equipment and runs and there might be a quid each "entry fee" so for two hours thats

*leaves the room for twenty minutes with a calculater and scowl*

bout 6-7 quid each, and somehow y'all are gonna have to get there

if only a coulpe fancy it maybe i can swing it so you arrive next time im teaching and we stick around at the end.

That's groovy. I can probably get the missus to move me and a couple more in the big maroon love machine [the ford orion or Margot, as she's better known] although she has no interest in the archery bit. She said something about using it as an opportunity to thin our ranks a little...
Anyway, I'll ask.
As for not remembering birthday's, I'm at an age when I frequently forget how old I am, so me mum should be happy I know what month it's in. I did forget totally a few years back, so I still bear scars.

i have spoken to my man, and hes able to do a little freinds and family rate for us, but im gonna have to book soon so can anybody intrested put the dates that they ARE available and i will get a calander out (im thinking sat or sun not much differance)
