Is this series any good? I understand it has a lot to do with Cain and Abel but I don't know much more. I seem to recall an issue with Clucaran fighting his Nemisis and Matt Cable regaining his body from the preview blurbs from years ago but don't know a whole lot more.

i sort of skimmed a few issues. it seemed kind of, well, bad, so i never got into it. apparently, the Corinthian turns mortal, and they get a sexy new goth girl Corinthian to replace him, and she leads the nightmares in a revolt against Dream, who gets a white raven at some point.

there's a few good issues and fewer good story lines in an all around weak comic series...

too bad though, I wanted to like it.

If memory serves, it kind of started out with various creators each doing their bit – Al Davison and Bryan Talbot spring to mind, but I could be wrong – and then settled down to being written mainly by Caitlin Kiernan and Peter Hogan, though more the former than the latter.

It wasn’t bad at all, though I must admit that towards the end I was starting to lose interest, only to hear it was being cancelled, so thought I might as well stick around to see how it turned out (hmmm, shades of a Loki line in the Sandman there, methinks). Overall, it was pretty good, but I think that the majority of the moments I found most interesting were those featuring characters from the Sandman series, seeing what happened next for them. Somehow didn’t quite engage with the newer characters in the same way, though that might simply be because they didn’t have the familiarity gained from re-reading which the Sandman characters tended to have for me, if that makes any kind of sense…

It's like Sandman...

...only tedious goth pish.

Well, Kiernan is. Hogan was alright.
