Augury - You'd hardly call her a vamp though, would you?
NEIGHBOURS EVIL TWIN SAGA SPOILERS
I missed some episodes and am not sure 100% how they set this up but: Paul Robinson (who seems to be less evil since various attempts on his life, which makes him a Tweener in wrestling jargon by the way) has identical twin adult sons Robert and Cam. When they were kids, Cam and (sister) Elle mercilessly picked on Robert, notably compiling a list of his character flaws they called The Freak Files, plus presumably it was no picnic being Paul's kid, so he turned out Pyscho. In fact, the ads always refer to him as 'Psycho Robert', just so you don't miss the point. Ironically, this recalls the many cruel nicknames Elle and Cam came up with for young Robert, which caused his antisocial behaviour in the first place. He is driven by an overwhelming desire for revenge against his family.
To this end, after causing last season's plane crash (which failed to kill any Robinsons unless I'm forgetting someone), Rob put Cam in a coma so he could assume his identity and get close to his targets. His ultimate plot has remained unclear although we know it is Evil from the clues he drops when he goes to have one-sided conversations with his comatose twin. He got Paul's protege, Dylan, fired, by sabotaging some shelving he was installing - almost killing Steph's baby, Charlie, in the process! Recently the ads teased an amazing secret weapon, which turned out to be an ipod, with which he edited audio clips of Izzy speaking about her relationship with Paul to make it sound like she was making a pass at Cam.* A devastated Paul threw her out, tragically, just as she was finally ready to tell him she was in love with him.
However, all is not going well with Psycho Robert's Evil Plans. Dylan and Izzy both know something's up. And as mentioned upthread, he has fallen in love with the spunky young Katia - the first time he has felt close to another human being. (Of course, she is not really in love with him, but his successful imitation of his hated brother.) Since this is a distraction from his mission, he decided to kill her during a picnic in a forest (one of the many in suburban Melbourne, I assume). But just as he was preparing for the kill Katia accidentally lost her footing and fell part way off the cliff - and lovestruck Robert couldn't help but save her. She has since almost stumbled onto his Evil plans several times, leading him to concoct more and more unconvincing explanations. Luckily for him, Katia has low expecations of men due to her time as a IV-drug addict and prostitute.
Meanwhile! Connor's ex-girlfriend Carmella, now a novice-nun, has returned to Ramsay St to test her faith before she takes her vows. But - she has also been tending the comatose Cam at the hospital and, presumably, will blow Psycho Robert's cover if she happens to see him. Plus, when Dylan was fired and figured out something was not right with Robert, he hired Connor (who works as a private detective) to follow him, and so Connor knows that he regularly visits same hospital. (If I ever hire a PI to follow someone and he says 'Nothing to report. He just goes to some hospital every day,' 'What does he do there?' 'I dunno, visit someone I guess,' I will be asking for my money back. Although I suppose if he has a cute accent like Connor's I might let it pass.) I am amused that Robert's meticulously detailed plan included putting his brother in a coma in a hospital in Erinsburgh. It's hard to see how that could backfire.
SPOILERS END
I think that's most of it. But yeah, you should be most excited about Lou's Russian internet girlfriend who is now chewing up scenery at an alarming rate.
