What the hell do I mean?

I do it all the time. I write things down on random little bits of paper, forget about them, find them again and have no idea what I originally meant.

I've just found these:

Fuck off with your 'revolution', you live in Purbeck!

Submarine lady.

Annoying reading things - roiling, frisson.

Richard Simmons.

What? Who? What do I mean?

Help.

Well, this is Richard Simmons:

He's an American fitness/weight-loss guru, responsible for the Farewell To Fat program, as well as being a dead ringer for a particularly unsettling zombie.

Apparently the Farewell to Fat system came after the ever-popular 'Meal-A-Deal' and before the ground-breaking 'Move, Groove & Loose' systems.

Does that help at all?

Fuck off with your 'revolution', you live in Purbeck!

Remember the precise details of your revolution and tell me about it in detail. Tell your note to fuck off from me for telling you to fuck off.

Well, this would have to be the most sublime message ever: J

Submarine Lady

She sounds a little repressed. Hmm, maybe even oppressed.

Maybe she is doing research on the other hand.

As I read through the words on your odd list I can hear Liam Gallagher singing them in my head. Could they be Oasis lyrics?

Context is all-important in solving this mystery. If they’re scribbled down on the cover of an old exercise book or similar, possibly with ‘Olula 4 Liam’ written nearby in red biro, then yeah, Oasis lyrics it is.

(That doesn’t help with what they actually mean, though, which is what you asked)

Having loved oasis myself for years i can confirm that they are more or less definately not oasis lyrics.

I haven't got their latest albums though so i could be wrong. I'm more of a nu-metal, metal, punk, whatever person now.

(but what the hell, i still love those guys.)

Richard Simmons was in the Victoria Wood documentary series the other week. Many women in his class were probably the size of a small submarine. He's an annoying thing, and he can fuck off with his revolution? If you didnt see the documentary, I am most certainly wrong about all of this.

You never know. Scary man, though.

Hmmm. roiling, frisson might just be annoying words to read.

Dunno, I kind of like them, myself... But then, I'm plagued by the opposite sort of thing - finding to-do lists and goals from a couple of years ago, and I could have written them yesterday. Not sure which is more depressing...
