Organizing MP3s

I have too many CDs...

...I am planning on leaving the country for a year in about a year or so, and have too many CDs now to travel with. My planned solution is to get a discman that plays MP3s, and just copy all my Mp3s onto CDs, and voila! 300-odd CDs reduced to less than 50!

BUT, does anyone know of a program that will print me out a nice list of all my albums or artists? I'm dreading having to go into Windows Media Player and typing out every single one into Word or Excel before I can decide which albums to group together on CDs and whatnot... I just downloaded MediaMonkey (apparently free) but it won't let me export my library to Excel without buying the full version.. grr...

Had a quick look around and found something that might be helpful.

It allows you to export selections of MP3 names to text files. I downloaded it, and exported few folders, so it doesn't seem restricted in trial version as far as I can see (not looked around too much though)

I'm not sure what the mods view is on posting links to crack sites, but there seem to be a few out there that might help unlock the software into full mode if necessary. Google has the answers

Why not get an ipod?

Thanks!

The program seems to work quite well... except that I've just realised that 1331/4800 of my files are .wma and not .mp3

Anyone know any programs to easily convert all these files to mp3 format?

I'll probably want something that will play CDs, so an ipod wouldn't be worth it.. and an Mp3 discman is a lot cheaper as well I think...
