Ok. At what point, exactly, do you stop empathising with Morrissey's existential dilemna ?

Or do you just keep on going ? Say it isn't so. I can't really cope with " I Know It's Over " as anything other than light entertainment, ever again.

"You're The One For Me, Fatty" is certainly an intriguing glimpse into a tortured artist's soul.

Problem is, the more you ignore him...

Never. NEVER.
The first rule of Morrissey club is that you never drop out of Morrissey club. The second rule of Morrissey club is to bring some nice biscuits, possibly chocolate Jaspers. (Sorry, I'll stop, Fight Club parody is so 20003).

Yes, but they were the rules of the Morrissey club well before Fight Club even existed...

Ex, am I to understand that you have come back from the future? Possibly to taunt us with forbidden knowledge? Because here on earth in 2004 Fight Club parodies are Hipster.

On the other hand, I remember an interview with Moz a few years back where he not only admitted having fallen in love with his boyfriend, but actually smiled on camera.

The world is getting better, but so slowly its hard to notice, to paraphrase John Cage.

Yeah, smiling on camera has been known, but admitting in public that he's FALLEN IN LUV ? Surely not

What existential dilemma? The man is stunningly beautiful and ridiculously talented; he lives in a gorgeous house in LA, has legions of devoted fans and clearly finds himself hugely and continuously amusing and interesting company. And without his example I would never have identified as Morrisseysexual and hence never got together with my similarly Morrisseysexual girlfriend.

Empathising with Morrissey is good for you! It is like doing affirmations would be, if anyone who empathised with Moz was the sort of person who did affirmations!

Bounce. Thinking about Morrissey makes me happy. But then he's just the same as I am; what makes most people feel happy leads us headlong into harm...
