With words by the awesome scripting powerhouse we know as impulsivelad, and art by me, a new Jenny story for your enjoyment:

Your return to the Jenny multiverse was long overdue, lentil. And what a return!

That's really cool. And you used one of me fonts in the intro! I'm chuffed!!!

OK, this is amazing. I would say this and "The Death of Jenny Everywhere" are the best Jenny stories we've seen in a looong time. I would give both stories a 10 out of 10. The art in this is kick-ass, the lettering is amazing (word balloon placement is great too, in one panel where it could have been tricky around page 5 or so). Imp's writing is the best I've seen in his published/finished Jenny stories, and it's just a kick-ass overall production. You have a lot to be proud of, gentlemen. Congratulations.

One question - is the 'fertilizer' Jenny's excrement, and that's why it's got her genetic code in it? That wasn't totally clear to me, although I figure I got it.

Oh, and imp, what was your inspiration for this story (a school where they want to make you dumber)? Going to college? Seriously, just curious if there was a real-life inspiration for it.

Oh, and lentil did a terrific job on those moonbuggies!! The art, design, layout, everything, in every single panel of the story is phenomenal.

Wow. Thanks guys. Hunterwolf's comments in particular have made me feel like a million bucks! To answer your question - the fertilizer gets Jenny's genetic material because she spits into the can on page 3, panel 3. The original contents would just have been the "most powerful nutrient solution on the station". I was a bit worried about how that panel read - couldn't get the shape of her lips right for the life of me!

I think I know what one of the infulences was but I don't want to speak on imp's behalf.

The lettering is soo good I just wanna look at it over and over!!! Is that all by hand? (it looks by-hand I'm just curious) The panel where Jenny goes into the big cargo bay with the buggies and the suits is really well-done - everything is placed in the room very naturally and it really flows. The page with the moon buggy crash is fantastic, and the final page is just a delight, with the pixie dust quality of the jenny spit soil as the guns are trained on her.

Oh, and I realize now that I read the story a little fast - had I read it slower (I'm at work so I tend to rush reading things sometimes) I don't think I would have been confused about her spit.

Well, this is definitely my favourite impulsivelad-penned Jenny story. Much more cohesive and plot-led than the others - a very enjoyable experience.

And nice to see lentil's Jenny again. You did a great job with the exterior shots and the figure-work was great - I'd love to see a lentil crowd scene.

Only had chance to read it briefly at work so I'll go back and comb over it again now and give you more thoughts later. But well done the pair of you.

lentil- you know what one of my inspiration was? Let me know as I seem to have forgotten. I really don't remember how I came up with this story.

Glad you guys liked it. Thanks for the nice words, Hunter and Sax. I'm on a mission to improve my writing, so hearing that this is the best one yet makes me feel great.

My next story, "Soulless Mate" is up soon and my writting is better still and the story is Sax inspired.

Wow, that was a great read. Alex, where do you find the energy, my friend??? The scene with the guy with the fire was pretty funny (his line really made me laugh), and Jenny's outburst at the beginning was hilarious --pure Jenny attitude! Good surprise with the crash!

Nice job on the art, John. I am envious of how solid and convincing the moonbuggies were, and I really like the shots of the moon surface. The one panel of the crash scene was done very well too, and it's probably my fave panel of the story.

Ooo, that was nice. I have the chills now, but that's because I'm lentil's wife now.

What a lovely ending.

And the slab poster on p. 4?

I'm actually really interested in seeing a story about that Slab Jenny.

What does "Slab" mean in this context? I'm not getting the visual reference. Is it like a cartoon or something, like Fraggle Rock?

I mean, I see the poster you're talking about (that's why I made the Fraggle Rock reference, it looks kind of Muppet-esque). But I don't know what it's referencing.
