So, where to shop for clothes?

Think small and/or cute, think Jamiroquai, think diluted 'street' colours, and think that I'm gonna be living in Hyde Park for the two days I'm there.

Oh yeah, AND what about Camden Market? Is it open on Friday or Saturday? When is the best day to go? And what can I expect?

I wouldn't think Jamiroquai if you paid me.

Camden has lotsa different markets, and most of "Camden Market" as it is generally understood is actually shops rather than market stalls per se, and so open in shoppy ways. Camden Lock market is open all week, as are most of the others, except Camden Canal, which is open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, I think, and the Electric Ballrom gothy clothes market (Sundays). It's a bit disappointing, but I'm probably now too decrepit to get much out of it. Expect high prices and pushy salespeople, but you might get some lucky shots.

Hyde Park... there's an Urban Outfitters at High Street Ken, and some quality charityshops up Church Street Ken... what sort of budget are you looking at?

Come on people! I leave tomorrow!
Where do I go clothes shopping for something I couldn't pick up in any other part of the country?
I'm thinking stylish and moderately expensive, to go out in

Covent Garden might be your best bet. Find Seven Dials and you're at the intersection of Earlham, Monmouth and Mercer streets - all home to some good boutiquey places. You should also try Floral Street the other side of Long Acre. There you'll find Paul Smith, Paul & Joe, Agnes B, Maharishi, Deisel Style Lab, Burro, and (if you're feeling the wealth) Jones.
