Blog Magick

I've recently started a magickal/social/political/astral sort of blog, and I know some of you folks have blogs. care to share. This is a thread to post a link to your blog and read the blogs of others.

My blog:

Not my own, but one of my favourite blogs - in fact, the only one I read regularly - is Joel Biroco's. Links to his excellent I Ching site and Kaos Magazine as well. I also like my mate Jon's blog which has loads of weird stuff on it - bits and pieces about reggae, psychogeography, industrial cultre and a load of other fun things. Gyrus's blog is also pretty cool, and the Norlonto site (linked) has loads of gereat essays about magick and sundry matters.

Cool, thanks for the links. I dig the idea of blogs as repositories of personal existence. I feel like i'm chronicling bits of my life, editing and delivering them to the world (or at least any random surfer who happens past). And any chance to inflict my will on others is a chance well-taken, in my book. In a sense, we can all vie for influence over the cultural memepool and extend our personal philosophies into the hypermedia of the infosphere. My legacy may very well exist as a handful of bits archived and backed-up in some dusty old Sun Solaris on the outskirts of Rotterdam, 2087. Will there be anyone who can read binary after the Apocalypse(tm)?

I have occasionally used my blog as a magickal device; most often I would write my willed results in a locked entry, then not look at it.

I look at the desired event as permeating the day-to-day events that I update for public consumption, sending itself into the world under and along with the public consumption entries. For extremely detailed descriptions of own magickal work, I tend to use paper and pen.

On a smaller scale, some of my icons are magickal symbols/deities and I will use them on particular entries.

I haven't yet used sigils in an online blog, but it is an interesting idea.

Not into blogs, but witchbeam is the space on the internet where I do my thing. It's filled with all sorts of ridiculous mysticalia.

Got mine up and running here on freepages.com. It's not a bloghost but i might learn how to design a blog with HTML/CSS/Javascript ( i feel like learning a bit more and need a PC challenge) or even join a free blog host that i've found on the net.

I have one here, but I've only posted to it a couple of times so far. I do plan on updating it regularly once I move house and stuff though.

I put some of my magick-related goings on up on my personal blog. Then there's Liber Viridis, of course.

I have a really simple blog. It's usually filled with inane quizes I find on the net and bits and pieces of my life, but I do cover esoteric topics sometimes. There's a particularly strange annecdote about another forum website some of you would likely appreciate

Thanks! I'm really enjoying the blog. There's so much stuff going on out in the world. Great content! Some days i have to hold back from posting like 15 entries.

sacredwhore.org is the magical body my former site, beautifultoxin.net, was. The journal there is total snag from Grant Most High: "Writing Pornography in the Notebooks of the Gods" is the name. There's also a more blog-type-blog with audio entries, fetish objects found in the ctreets, and impressions of the city from a magical bent.

I got my blog at pestsmitta.se. Even though it is not a magickal blog per se I do bring up esoteric subjects once in a while. More to come.

("pestsmitta" is swedish and means "pestilence" - my old blog was called "A Center ov Pestilence" and the name kinda stuck)

Here's my magick/comic site: IMPCOMICS.COM still pretty empty but I'm working on that. Also I know the logo's a bit crap. I'm working on it.

pythagore, who is hosting your blog? What's the back end? I started using blogger.com just because it was simple and free but it really lacks a lot of capabilities. But I really like your layout.

LVX23 - it's a swedish hosting company that I use. The backend is Movable Type, which pretty much lets you do anything you like (compared to Blogger). But then again - to host a MT-blog you need to have some form of hosting that allows you to install stuff like that on their server. Check the MT page for specs.

On the other hand, SixApart (the people behind MT) has launched TypePad - a blogging service that is supposed to be quite good.

And thanks - the layout is my own.

LVX23's blog is groovy! I drop by every day.

I've got a dream journal blog here:

Analysis of my personal symbolism is always welcome, though Freudian analysis is not. ;-)

I've got Zonerunner going again which will be centered around spirituality/occult etc.

I've been posting away the last couple of days and should be finding several things each day or so to put in there.
