normally, i would never ever do this, but i just wanted to let people here know about an unsigned band in new york called Come Down who are about an hour away from getting on a plane and heading out to the UK for a quick tour.
i would not be making this little promotion for them if i didn't think they were worth people listening to - but they are (at least in my opinion, for whatever that's worth to you). i'm completely amazed by them and i think they have the potential to do so much more if only they had more support, so that's why i'm doing this. [yeah, as you can tell, i really don't normally do this.]
i'm trying to get more people interested in them and i hope that for those of you in the UK wanting a good show to see - you'll head out to one of the venues they'll be playing at for the next week.
i'm good friends with the band and if anyone sees them, go say hi and tell them Deltzer sent you.
in the audio/video section of their site i highly recommend the first three mp3s. my fave is 'you are not a song'. the only way i can describe them is a mix between old radiohead (circa The Bends) and coldplay.
