A good friend of mine is having an exhibition of her scuptures and artwork in the Limelight Gallery in Lewisham Public Library. They are very fine so you should go and see them.
The exhibition is called: 'Goddesses and the Deep Blue Sea'
'An exhibition of goddess sculptures inspired by diverse cultures and myths and a series of vibrantly coloured 2D images of the sea's multitude of strange and wonderful creatures.'
Sculptures include Baubos, some owl goddesses, Lilith, Hekate, two different images of Kali, the Sri Yantra, an Earth Goddess and an Isis.
And lots of linocuts and mixed media images of wonderful sea creatures and a set of monoprints trying to capture the movement of waves.
