Inspired by this, I've been trying to find an old thread which I could have sworn was in the Head Shop, called something like 'Unethical Art' or 'Ethically Unsound Art'... I can't seem to locate it, though, and it's driving me mad. I think it was started by Deva - D, any ideas?

Flyboy, is this it? Update : Cat killing "artists" found guilty. It's a three page long thread in Art and Design about the ethics of Art and I found it by Googling: barbelith headshop ethics art.

Have you tried searching for 'art' coupled with the phrase 'could we be more specific?'. This is Barbelith, after all, and the chances of someone crying out for more specific discussion in a thread that was about non-specific art-type stuff is pretty good.

Yep, that's the one I mean. It also gets referenced here, but if even Deva hirself couldn't find it back in 2002, I think it's time to call off the search. Guess I'll have to think stuff through myself again... I hate that.
