Huge snake

It's a 14.85 metre (49 foot) reticulated python weighing in at 447 kg (980 lbs.) The previous largest snake was also a reticulated python measuring a rather puny 9.75 metres or the length of a British double decker bus.

As Twigger (who wrote a book about his search for a huge python says this length could be a little over optimistic (times link i know it'll self destruct in 7 days and be useless to americans).

Most interesting thing I can see is that a python over 25 feet long is theoretically big enough to eat a person whole as they can get their jaws around your shoulders.

This one apparently likes to eat fierce brown dogs.

Is this or is this not the feted "Naga" of folklore?

Naa, Nagas have a woman's torso.

Are you sure about Nagas having women's torso's?

I was given to understand that there was a bit more flexibilty in their appearance- there are some carvings on hindu temples in this book I have- some have legs, some are just many headed snakes.

Snake spirits generally.

Reminds me of thundercats.
