so I just joined netflix, since everyone else in the world has a dvd player and a netflix account.
I got a home theatre system for xmas (thanks, mom and you old poop!) so I intend to burn that baby up. yknow, once I figure out how to hook it up. which, hopefully, is before my dvds arrive. if not, my daughter got a dvd player for her room and a portable one, too, so I can steal hers and watch it in bed.
did I mention that I ("I" includes my girl, as anything bought for her is one more thing that I won't have to purchase) was spoiled rotten this xmas?
my real question, though, is do you like netflix? and give me some old movie recommendations, if you please. I especially enjoy horror and especially despise overly cliched action movies (chase/fight/gun scenes, bleeeeccccchhh) and too-gooey love stories. don't mind a good weep, however. |
