The city, she ees a woman...

You know, I never really got the idea of thinking of a city as a woman. Until I went to Tokyo. Thees city, I love her, she weel be mine one day...and all that trash. I loved that place. I only spent a week there but by god I have to go back. I've never loved a city like this before, not even the city I thought of as home, good ol' Nashville TN. Don't get me wrong, I still love Nashville, but she just can't excite me like Tokyo did. Maybe it'd be a different story if I had lived in Tokyo, as living in a city may have a dampening affect on the romance of it, but I don't really think so. I can't imagine not loving Tokyo this much, espcecially at night. Good god, the whole city is transformed into neon signs towering over you with lanterns stretching across the streets and people everywhere and oh shit I gotta get the hell back there. Damn.

What about you jerks? Do you know my pain?

By the way: yes, I know I need to see Lost in Translation. It's on my to do list.
