I just had the LASIK procedure performed last friday, are there any barbeloids who have had this done? What can I expect over the next few weeks? My vision went from 20/35 to 20/15. My near vision is still a bit wonky, but I believe that this will clear up as the swelling goes down.

A friend of mine had it done a year or so ago... his eyesight is better than 20/20 but his nightvision has gone down a bit.

I want Lasik for my third eye.

I haven't noticed that my nightvision is worse, it seems about the same. There is a bit of a corona around lights at night, but the OD said that it should resolve itself within a few weeks.

Corona around lights at night? That's standard if you wear glasses of any sort isn't it, so I wouldn't worry too much.

My coworker had it done last year. She was plagued by chronic conjunctivitis for the next 6 months or so, but I think she's ok now.

Thanks you guys. My vision is going down the tubes pretty fast but I'm too self-destructively stubborn to have anything surgical done about it.

But now I'm actually considering consulting a specialist. I mean, you only get one pair of eyes, right? And like Ferris Bueller I always wanted to give them to Stevie Wonder when I die.
