Taking the cyberculture beyond the cyber

So, I got this racist mother fucker groupie to get lost, but now I'm wondering if I'll really in the mood to keep updating a whole website in the first place. What I'm thinking is that I mainly wanna focus on stuff outside the internet when it comes to creative expression.

So this question is to all you people that have websites and create other kinds of stuff.

How do you make uploading files entertaining? Caused I'm bored with all this technical jam. How you find the time to create cyber culture and go out and do the real thing? What I'm trying to do is merge the two, but all this net stuff can be pretty boring when you look at the bigger picture.

Just figured it out!

Gonna redo the main site and put some random stuff on it- (who "we"- the new breed culture- are, what we're doing, graphics, etc.) and start a discussion list.

The rest of my focus is gonna be on the zine. This is where all the new content will go. Zine zine zine. Hoorah! And people will be able to order the zine from the site.

So fuck uploading!

Another idea I have is mutant punk rock. I got this whole song called "I wanna play with your DNA" that I can't wait to scream into the mike. For some reason punk rock is a bit "behind" if you know what I mean, and I think I'd like to change that. I'm hoping that enough people in Baltimore- where I'm gonna start to spread this new culture stuff- are gonna be into this cyber-apocalypse-punk sort of deal.

Anyway, what do you guys think about the whole taking the cyber to the streets idea? Cause frankly, I'm sick of the internet being the most "cutting edge" place to go these days. We need to change that.

How are you doing your part in this cultural revolution thingie? It's a silly question, but I'm curious as to how you're contributing. The thing about the net is that ideas spread a million times faster, but the other thing about the net is that it's very removed and alienated. So the idea of zines merging with websites and cyberculture merging with realife culture seems like a good one at the moment.

I know a lot of you have jobs, but I think it's important for us- the creative intelligentsia (ya, that term sucks, eh?) to take what we're doing on the net OUTSIDE of the net. Because many of the people who would appreciate our ideas don't go on the internet very much.

So, what are you doing?
