Hey ho folks! One of my flatmates has to unexpectedly move out January 1st and that means we have a room available at the CherryBomb Ranch. Anyway let me tell you a little about the room: it IS pretty small but it is also a double and it's a very cute room and you get a desk, a tv stand thingy and a pretty nice-sized wardrobe just adjoining the room. I used to live it in it until I upgraded to a bigger room in the flat so I know what I'm talking about. I ended up liking the room so much I was actually a little sad to leave it when I switched rooms.
The rest of the flat is pretty nice, cute kitchen, we have a little terrace, and we are in the heart of zone 1, baby! About 10-15 minutes away from Angel, Old Street, Barbican or Farringdon tube stations - your choice! A stone's throw away from Holborn - yes you can stumble home drunkenly from the Princess Louise in about 20 minutes! (Or just take the bus, like I do!)
Finally the roomies: Well, of course you'll be living with Ms. CherryLaBombe, and I like to think I'm a fun, if sort of messy, housemate. But you'll also be living with a mildly crazy yet very funny Irish Republican who is currently an editor of liberal-type writings. You'll also be living with a Canadian of Iranian-descent who hails from Quebec and is a native speaker, though fluent in French and ALSO an editor, though of what type of writings I don't know because she only recently moved in and I've been on vacation. Oh the conversations we will have! All the roomates are fun, easygoing, smart and fairly laid-back.
Price: DIRT CHEAP! Um, let me calculate - £285 a month and that includes ALL utitilities (including council tax). You could get this down to £270 a month if you'd prefer to pay some utilities as they come up. The landlord is absolutely lovely and very helpful.
YOU must be friendly, fun, laid-back and though somewhat responsible, not the sort to leave notes about the dishes and other such matters on the refrigerator. We're putting an ad in Loot of course, but I'd rather have a barbeloid, so if you are interested send me a pm! |
