I can't believe I never realised this before. It's been staring us in the face all this time. We - as patrons of indie - go merrily on our way, listening to only the cutting edge of the underground, feeling superior to each and every other person around us, and mocking all those dirty manufactured bands. It's just the way it should be, we are better, and we listen to fine music thought out by proper people who mean every thing they say. Their pain is our pain. It's not like someone else wrote the words they are singing and they are pretending it relates to them! No, these are our people, people we know, people we love. But those times may be gone! Read on, intrepid traveller.
I was thinking to myself the other day, about all the great indie bands and those little obscure ones. You know, like that one with the three drummers and japanese midgets who employ kamikaze hamsters and sound like it's world war 3!!!!111 That cool japanese girl band, and most of all, Muse. The kings of everything.
I was thinking about all these great things, and I thought - and I think it may even have been mentioned on this board before - "wow, that band was clearly invented for rizla".
Yes, that band was invented for Rizla. And all the countless other indie champions like him! We have been listening to bands that were made for us! I cant imagine a more twisted scheme. Follwing my research, I found that all these bands were being thought up by japanese business men, and built in factories. (That's why so many band's has a Japanese person in, the 5678's? They were the prototype).
We can't let on this information, we have to keep it from arising. I am asking this board, as right thinking indie lovers to shield every other real music fan from this information. Already Muse don't feel like the people I once knew.
This is nearly as bad as liking Justin Timberlake! |
