I'm not much of a drug person, but I'm really interested in trying to reach the same place that drugs take you, but without drugs, so that I'd have more control, and would not be in as much danger. So, does anyone have any good techniques, such as meditation, etc. that would help you get deeper into your mind, without using drugs.
The main thing that I use is something I picked up from a friend, a form of trance/shamanic meditation. Essentially, you completely relax all your limbs, and your body, so that you don't feel anymore, and sort of daze out. It may not sound like much, but I've gotten pretty deep, and after one of my friends tranced, he was ice cold, so it's definitely not just almost going to sleep.
Anyone else gotten to a good mental place without drugs? |
