Request: if you're trying to post and don't think that it's gone through, open up another window to check instead of immediately going back and resubmitting the post. Chances are that it's already up. Resubmitting only adds to the weight of moderation actions that need to be carried out and, in the case of resubmitting new topics, can lead to two active versions of the same thread, each eventually containing different posts because nobody knew which to reply to.
