Well I for one am extraordinarily glad you have 'opened the books' - a pal has been bugging me for the longest time to get myself on here, and when I finally bit, I couldn't register. Now I'm here and so far it seems good IMHO.
as for mechanisms to deter 'trolling' - I wouldn't go mad if I were you. Extreme changes can Kill off a site. Take Popbitch. Their overhal, and the removal of the parlour game element (the icon system) drove most of the interesting folks away, and dabbling with charging etc. was a real damp squib.
Anyway... that's my 2 penneth. I think I'll like it here.
