Here it is, my first Jenny Everywhere comic!

Dadist, it's fabulous my friend, and good to see the shifter in colour too.

And I love the style Andres uses, is that his usual one, or is he one of these annoying, highly talented people who can do a lot of different styles.

Only wish there had been more pages. But that's me, always trying to extend what I find pleasurable.

Thank you adamswish. Andrés can change his style a lot! You didn´t see his best work yet.
I have a more elaborate script of Jenny in Irak, but I don´t know...there are too many sensitive people out there. But is a story of life and death with a optimistic message in the final.

I don´t think that extend the comic is a good idea but a appreciate the opinion, a lot of people think like you. The idea with Andrés was to make a very short comic with a political and magickal point. That´s all. You´ll have the oportunity to see my talent several times in the future, hehehe.

The other inconvenient is that my english is very poor and I write in spanish (Impulsivelad translate my comics to english, thanks Imp). I can read english perfect but the writing is very difficult to me.

Hey, since jenny is everywhere why can't we have some jenny strips in Spanish? There are certainly already several blogs and things in non-English languages that feature jenny - why not some spanish language strips released alongside the english languge ones?

I think that's a fantastic idea... if anyone wants to translate any of my Jenny scripts into Spanish are more than welcome. (I'd do it but my Spanish is at a 4th grade level.)

The idea with Andrés was to do the shortest comic because it was our first work together.
I ´ll prove that my 6-page comic is, in fact, more complex than what it seems (sorry my english, again):

The title: a reference to NYC (New York City). New York Chaos.....well....you know...CHAOS...the bomb, Horus, etc.

Page 1 & 2: The real Statue and Jenny dressed like the statue: Macrocosm/Microcosm (also note that Jenny is holding a device to smoke pot...she fills her lungs/interior with smoke, a bomb connotation).

Horus: I think all the people here know Horus, the violent and creative god of the new aeon. The Statue represents the old times and Horus the future. It´s all simbolic."...and from Horus, the bomb".

Page 4, last panel: Fascist president Bush hits the petrol tower. Microcosm/Macrocosm, again. A small structure fall, then a big structure fall.

Page 5, last panel: "Lady Liberty, I´m Lady Chaos and I´m here to replace you". Jenny like the representation of Horus, the chaos. Replace one simbol with another. Another dualistic confrontation.

The agents, last page: Human sacrifice.

For me, there are a lot of things in a very very short comic. And of course, the political point (indivisible of the magickal point).

Lovely deconstruction, D. And a lovely strip... I found it mildly Absurdist, in that to really find any meaning you had to look at the iconography/symbols within the art and text, while the story itself seemed very chaotic. I like how form reflects content there; Jenny's so-called chaos replaces the "order" of American politics, just as the chaotic and absurdist nature of the story itself is used to defamiliarize and hence open us to a greater understanding of just what the message is.

Ah....I forgot:
Page 1 & 2: The desacralization (I hope that this word is right!)of the components of the Statue: the torch/the pipe, the book/the Crowley´s book and the speech in the first page/the speech in the second page. Also Crowley is related with Horus and the stuff that I said above.

Re-reading the comic I actually like the shortness of the story. Adds an element to the chaos of the story. Gives an air of rushed, seats of the pants, action/reaction type thing going on. Like we're seeing the end of something that began months ago.

I got most of the references between the first two pages. But have to admit I mis-took the pipe for a standard lamp and flex running down jenny's arm. Is the ariel crown the same as the crown of thorns or am I just leaping to conclusions here?

I don't know if anyone else caught it, but the title to the right is incorrectly syaing "Graveyard Shift"
