'I'm talking to my friends in the alien zoo...

..minga minga minga minga minga minoo'

This jingle has been stuck in my head for a week now, damn those sell out hippies in their VW camper with the giant speaker, damn them all to hell! Roaming the land spreading their viral memes in the service of evil mobile giants, whoring their talents for cash and infecting my head with their minga-minoo nonsense!
Gaah!

Anyone else have the same problem or is it just me? Does anyone even know what I'm talking about? Anyone else got an ad jingle stuck in their head? Or a giant speaker on their van?

i quite like the bit at the end where he does the "wik wik wikki wik" bit and his mate looks at him funny.

i did think they should have done a song instead of an advert, though.

I hate that fecking ad. Alien Zoo, my arse.

I'm still feeling the rage for "Low-cost car insurance" ads. It should be illegal to show telephone numbers on TV ads...

You may hate it, but imagine MY pain- I hate it AND I HUM IT CONSTANTLY! Not the rest of the song mind, just the minga-minga bit, grrr.

They should have done a Tenacious D style album instead of a phone advert, the bastards.

Wulff, I'm with you, but a special mention has to go to companies replacing 192 directory enquiries, those mo-fos need burning.

I don't think I've heard that one yet, and may avoid watching television for some time in order to avoid it entirely. Other irritating jingles from ads - the tune on the T-Mobile one is, I'm convinced, an easy listening version of the opening to Motorcycle Emptiness. Which is a hideous idea in itself, but also meant that I spent about a week with the lounge version and the thought "how do I know this? it should be so easy to identify!" stuck in my mind...

I just like the idea that they spend so little time in the countryside, despite being hippes, that sheep are "aliens".

I actualy quite like the advert. Why would you want an album? Why would you want more then thirty seconds?? Thirty seconds is plenty.

And why are you all speaking like they're not two actors brought together for this advert only?

Also, it has that bit where they just put the tape in and point at the phone. AND ONLY ONE OF THEM POINTS. I like the way everyone involves knows that just one of them pointing is way better then two.

And and and they have one of those microphones tha tlooks like and electric shaver. YOU PEOPLE HAVE NO FUN.

Actually, fuck what I said above- they should just drive around doing that shit all day.
